When playing large or multi-player games, you may want to use alliances between factions in your games. When using allies the following rules must be obeyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each army will have its own army list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
One army must be the ‘primary’ force and has at least 2-4 commands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Each other allied army must have 1-3 commands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
A total of 5 combined commands can be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Where an ally contributes only 1 command it does not have a camp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
All minimum compulsory troops for an allied Army list must be taken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Where an ally contributes only 1 command each minimum compulsory in the list is reduced to 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
After the minimums have been taken, any other troops can be taken from the allied list .<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Commands can only include troops from their own army.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

When allies are used there are 3 types of alliance as shown in the matrix below<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Battle Brothers (B)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Armies that are so close they have no downside to allying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allies of Convenience (A)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
The primary force must surrender 1 VM at the beginning of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Desparate Allies (D)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Treat each allied units as having the Mercenary characteristic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Come the Apocalypse (C) <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
These armies can never<\/strong> ally<\/p>\n\n\n\n
